我对飞机的兴趣应来自于西北工业大学的本科求学经历。西工大一直以来以航空航天闻名，今年航海学科发展得也相当迅猛。我本人虽出身材料学院，但私下估计，学院超一半的学者在做航空材料相关的科研，例如航空发动机的高温合金、涡轮等航空零件的铸锻焊工艺、超高温复合材料、隐身材料与结构等。因此耳濡目染，情感上总不免与飞机产生一些纠葛。

The origin of my interest in aircraft should be traced back to my undergraduate years in Northwestern Polytechnics (NWPU), an institute dedicated to aeronautics and astronautics engineering, and, particularly in recent years, marine engineering. Though I was in the Materials Department, I reckon that over half of the researchers in the department were engaged in the materials development for aircraft, such as the new alloy for aircraft engines, the casting / molding / welding techniques for turbines, the composite for ultra-high temperatures, or the stealth materials & structures. These experiences naturally fostered my interests in, or to exaggerate, my emotional relationship with, aircraft.

我于2017至2018年曾短暂地在西工大党委宣传部打杂，在学校没有大新闻时为微信公众号“西北工业大学”写一些无关紧要的稿子，通常都是惨淡经营，混点基本稿费。 2018年初，我对学校收藏的旧飞机做了一点研究，作为我供职期间的最后一篇报道。我本只是文字记者，但合作的摄影记者放假回家了，于是我向当时新认识的女朋友，也是现在的妻子，借了她的索尼相机，独立完成了稿件的全部图片与文字。这也是我拍摄飞机的开始。

During 2017 and 2018, I shortly served for the Publicity Department of CPC NWPU committee as the reporter for the WeChat official account ‘Northwestern Polytechnics’, whose role was ‘filling the blanks’ when it was a boring day without any news of interest. Naturally, my reports could hardly be a poplar topic, and usually paid with the fundamental rate. In early 2018, to motivate my last news report of my service, I did some research on the aircraft hosted in the campus, when my collaborating photographer was away on holiday. As a text reporter with no equipment at hand, I had to borrow a Sony camera from my new girlfriend then, who is my wife now, to solely accomplish both the photos and the text of this report, and this marked the beginning of my aircraft spotting.

或许是与校内理工直男的兴趣终于产生了一些同频共振的缘故，这篇发布于2018年3月6日的新闻的浏览量终于是破了一万，评论区讨论也不少，还因此拿了宣传部的奖金。八年过去，我当年写的不少新闻都被删除，感谢宣传部的新人垂怜，把这一篇保存下来留个纪念。

This topic is probably in perfect sync with the taste of those STEM freaks (geeks, I wound rather say now) that NWPU never lacks. Thanks to that, the number of reads of this report, published on 6 March 2018, exceeds 10k with heated discussions in the comment, which won me a cash prize from the Publicity Department. As a precious memory of my own, the report is generously kept on the server and still accessible via the link above, while quite a few of my contributions have been erased after eight years.
